BIO
Born in Colombia to the rhythm of the Carnival de Blancos y Negros (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Sirco grew up in a region where music is synonimous with identity and joy.
After studying ethnomusicology at Paris VIII University, he explored Pygmy chants, Sardinian polyphony, Balinese keçak, and Mongolian throat singing before dedicating himself to choral conducting and vocal jazz.
In 2013, he founded the Chant Pour Tous (Singing for Everyone) movement, a project of interactive vocal improvisation concerts. In 2015, he launched his career as SIRCO, a solo vocal performance that mixes beatboxing, loop station, and poetry.
His tours in Guinea-Gonakry, Mali, Colombia, and France, as well as his collaborations with artists such as Yeimi Argotti, Lorenzo Morrone, Rui Barossi, and even Ivan Oliva, Wilson Fajardo, and Illapa Ruiz, make Sirco a unique figure in the ethno-urban scene.
2026 marks a significant milestone with the April release of their board game Kantiko and the recording of his first album in Pasto, Colombia, produced with local jazz and salsa musicians.
